About Us
Canadian Council For Women's Health And Equity is a national nonprofit working to transform Canada’s healthcare systems through bold, evidence-based policy reform that centers women’s bodies, needs, and lived experiences.
We’re fighting to end diagnostic delays, fix medical education, fund women’s health research, and legislate paid menstrual and menopause leave. Because the health system isn’t broken—it was simply never built for us. We’re here to redesign it.
Mission:
To close the gender health gap by rewriting the policies, funding structures, and research standards that continue to ignore women’s bodies. We’re not just raising awareness. We’re building a national force that demands evidence-based action.
Our Vision is to have a Canada where women’s health is fully funded, politically prioritized, and reflected in every level of research and care, so no woman is dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left behind.
